Darwin Airline is a regional airline based in Lugano, Switzerland. It operates scheduled domestic services and international services to Italy, France and the United Kingdom. Its main base is Lugano Airport.
History
The airline was established on August 12, 2003 and operations started on July 28, 2004. It has 60 employees (at March 2007).
Destinations
Darwin Airline operates the following services (March 2007):
- Domestic scheduled destinations: Berne, Geneva and Lugano.
- International scheduled destinations: Rome.
- International seasonal destinations: Cagliari, Olbia, Dubrovnik, Palma and Valencia.
Darwin Airline currently operates services between Lugano and Zurich on behalf of Swiss International Air Lines.
